Hi all, Just a reminder of up coming team events and our local priorities… … Current Policing Priorities (January 2026) The team's current focuses, determined through community consultation, include: Bentley Bridge Deterrence: High-visibility patrols at Bentley Bridge Entertainment and Retail Park to deter anti-social behavior (ASB) and shop theft. ASB in Shopping Areas: Regular joint patrols with council partners at the Crossways Shopping Centre and Heath Town residential blocks. Off-Road Bikes: Active operations to identify and seize off-road bikes causing nuisance in Wednesfield. Team Structure The team is composed of both warranted officers and Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs): Supervision: Sergeants Chris Smythe and Emma Clark..(East Sector co-ordinator) Dedicated Neighbourhood Officers (DNOs):
Local Action Team (LAT): PC Eleyse Lawrence. PCSOs: Ian Kerrigan, Rebecca Bickmore-Green, and Stephen O’Loughlin. Upcoming Community Meetings (January 2026) Residents can meet the team at these scheduled "Love Your Community" and surgery events: Wednesfield South: Thursday, 22 January 2026, 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Greggs, Wednesfield High Street. Wednesfield North: Friday, 30 January 2026, 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM at The Hub at Ashmore Park. Wednesfield Library: Friday, 30 January 2026, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at 2 Well Lane, Wednesfield.
